Location/Directions Our mailing address is Manheim, but our location is Salunga about 7 miles west of Lancaster. Take the Salunga Exit off Rt. 283 then go south just a bit to S. Chiques Road (watch for Liederkranz sign and arrow). Then turn right and go about 3/4 mile to the Liederkranz.
House Rules and Constitution & By-Laws Members should familiarize themselves with these documents which hang at the bulletin board and are available as pdf links here:
- Members must have their membership card available upon request from an officer/trustee, door tender or bartender. - Guests must provide a valid drivers license or state ID upon request. - Guests must be accompanied and signed-in by their member host and will be asked to wear a guest badge unless attending a public event. - Members must purchase alcohol for guests. State law prohibits bartenders from serving non members. - As a guideline, we request members to limit guests at any one visit to immediate family and/or 4 non-member guests. (ie) a member/co-member may bring up to 8 guests between them, plus immediate family.
- Member children age 21 and older are considered guests. - After 3 visits to the Club annually, guests must apply for membership to enter the club. The 3-visit rule is waived for guests with an application in process.

Monthly Membership Meetings The General Membership meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Meetings follow this Agenda Minutes are posted at the Club and here: Notices & Minutes Page Cultural Organizations Much of the Liederkranz's German cultural is perpetuated through four singing and dancing Cultural Organizations within the Liederkranz. - Thur: 5:30-8:00 (7:30 first Thu meeting night*) - Fri & Sat: 5:30-8:30 *On first Thu meeting night, non members, not being voted on must exit the Ballroom at the start of the meeting at 7:30.
Cash only - The club does not accept debit/credit cards. - Checks are accepted payable to the Lanc. Liederkranz. - An ATM is available in our lobby for your convenience.
Dining Reservations may be made at our TableAgentreservation site.
Club Fests The Liederkranz holds four annual fundraiser fests. Note: Only service dogs are permitted on fest grounds and in the clubhouse.
Communications In addition to this website, the Liederkranz communicates to members through weekly email announcements, bi-monthly newsletters, which are available for viewing here: Newsletter page and a Facebook page.

Club Smoking Policy Smoking or use of e-cigarettes is not permitted inside the clubhouse. Members and guests may smoke outside in designated areas. Designated areas include the bench beside the front door and the deck. Smoking on the deck is limited to only those times when the ballroom is not in use for dining, a dance, or any other event during cold-weather months defined as December through the end of March.
