Fests are Open to the Public - Rain or Shine!
Fests are a grand tradition in Germany. Lancaster Liederkranz Fests are sponsored events that are open to the public, held rain or shine, and bring joy to all who attend.

We hold four sponsored fest events each year: Sommerfest, Parrot Fest, Oktoberfest, and Christkindlmarkt.  Details for each are outlined in the sections below.

Please Note: 
- Alcohol service to minors is prohibited 
- Please have ID available at the entrance gate
- No dogs permitted - Includes parking areas, pavilion & tents, and fest grounds.
- No outside food or beverages permitted - Includes parking areas, pavilion & tents, and fest grounds.
- Food & Beverages are purchased by our F&B tickets - Tickets are purchased by cash only at the event, ATM on site.

A German Sommerfest
Friday & Saturday
June 12 & 13, 2026
Outside under the Pavilion and Big Tents!
Open to the public - rain or shine.
An Oktoberfest-style celebration of traditional German food, beer, music, song & dance.
Hours:
Fri. 5:30-11 p.m.
Sat. 12:30-11 p.m.
Food until 9pm, Desserts until 10pm, Bar until 10:45pm
Open seating under pavilion and tents
Lawn chairs are welcome on fest ground grass areas 

General Admission:
Pay Cash at the Gate (ATM on site)
- $10 for Adults age 21 and older - ID Required
- Free for all under age 21

Purchase online by Eventbrite (sale date TBA)
Note: Eventbrite charges a fee and sales 
are non-refundable.

Masskrugstemmen (Steinholding Competition) on Saturday at 4:00pm
- Contest is held at the Maypole
- Men's and Women's competitions. Register to compete at the Fest. 
- Winners will be eligible to compete in the PA State Steinholding Championship at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, PA.

Parking:
$10 on-site at the clubhouse and grass parking lots
Free grass parking across the street from the clubhouse

Featuring the surf-rock sounds of Jimmy and the Parrots.
Warm-up by the Tropical Sunz.
Full Table and Individual Seat Tickets available through Eventbrite.

  • Note regarding individual seating: You will be selecting a table at which to be seated not a specific seat at that table. Seats are not assigned, only the table is. Seat numbering in Eventbrite is for counting purposes only.

  • $12/ea through June 30 - $20/ea July 1-14 - $24/ea July 15-18 (+ eventbrite fee)

Age Restriction:
Children under the age of 12 are not permitted at Parrot Fest

Celebrate the season at our traditional German Christmas Market!

Craft & gift vendors, delicious fest food, and traditional German beverages outside under the pavilion & tents. Inside, seated dining also available. Open to the public - rain, snow or shine!  Admission is free.
Event Hours:
Sun, Dec 14 - 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Event Information:
 - Shop unique holiday gifts from over 30 local vendors
 - Fest food & beverages outside at the pavilion. 
 - Seated, inside dining also available in the clubhouse.
 - German beer and Glühwein (hot mulled spiced-wine.)
 - Pictures with St. Nick & Ruprecht
 - Children's playground
 - Musical performances
 - Bonfire with S'mores!
 - Kinderland inside the clubhouse lower level: kid's crafts & gift shopping.
