Fest Volunteers Organizers are always looking for volunteers to staff their areas. The Club holds a spring Volunteer Sign-up day and members may also look for areas of need on our SignUp Genius** which is published prior to the start of fest season. Look for fest volunteer information in newsletters and in weekly email announcements.
Other Volunteer Areas: Front Door Greeters This is an excellent way to volunteer for the Club and meet other members in the process! We staff Wednesday through Saturday nights from 5:30 to 7:30. Complementary beverage and meal provided. Maximum 2 greeters per shift. Sign-up here: Door Greeter SignUp Genius Questions should be directed to area coordinator, Lori DePorter. Her contact info is posted on the SignUp Genius sight.
House Committee This volunteer area is managed by Club Trustees and includes general clubhouse and grounds maintenance and cleaning, on an as needed basis. Communication for need is through email to committee members. If interested, contact area organizer, Mary Munster
During the Lancaster Liederkranz's long history, hundreds of volunteers have donated countless hours of their time. Without volunteers, our club could not exist as we know it. Occasionally, we enlist the help of members with specific vocational or occupational experience (i.e.) electrician, plumber, carpentry/construction, food service, etc.
A volunteer interest form is provided to our new applicants. However, any member may complete the form and be added to our volunteer database. Filling out the form does not mean you are automatically signed-up for that area; however, the information is made available to fest organizers and club trustees who may contact you if they are in need of specific volunteers.
