The Liederkranz awards scholarships to seniors from Lancaster Co. and surrounding area high school students who will further their education in German studies.
The successful candidate will be a leader and scholar who demonstrates an interest in German language and culture beyond the classroom. Interested applicants should contact their high school language department.
Scholarships are made possible by the annual Christmas cookie sales, Easter candy egg sales, Hobby Chor donation, Small Games of Chance donation and through the work in these areas of many Club volunteers
Memorial Scholarships The Scholarship Committee has named Scholarships in honor of three late member teachers who perpetuated the Club's mission of preserving German culture by offering German language classes to Club members:

Congratulations to our Liederkranz youth on the accomplishment of their High School graduation and continuing higher education.
Internal Youth Cultural Grants The Club also offers financial grants to the children and grandchildren of Club members who wish to further their German cultural interests. Examples such as financial aid for travel expenses to Germany with an accredited program, German cultural learning experiences, or expenses incurred in purchasing tracht for dancing, etc.
