Youth Cultural Grants & German Language College Scholarships
Youth Cultural Grants The Club offers financial grants to the children and grandchildren of Club members who wish to further their German cultural interests. Examples such as financial aid for travel expenses to Germany with an accredited program, German cultural learning experiences and furthering higher education, or expenses incurred in purchasing tracht for dancing, etc.

The Scholarship and Grant Committees have named three scholarships in honor of these late Liederkranz member teachers who perpetuated the Club's mission of preserving German culture by offering German language classes to Club members: Helga Barisits, Monica Fasnacht, and Milan Kratzer.
2023 Lancaster Liederkranz Scholarship Award
Scholarships are made possible each year by Grant Committee fundraisers and donations by the Hobby Chor and Small Games of Chance. In 2023, the Scholarship Committee awarded a single $2,000 scholarship to Christopher Stauffer.
Christopher (pictured) demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and dedication to studying German.Christopher graduated from Warwick High School and will attend Penn State University.
