Sommer Singspiel Day Camp Held for 4 days in August each year.
NOTE: Sommer Spingspiel has been cancelled for the 2022 August session. We hope to be back in 2023.
What is Sommer Singspiel Day Camp? Designed for students going into grades 2 through 8, Singspiel is a camp that builds skills in music, (singing, playing instruments, creative movement) and German language, culture, and traditions–including soccer.
What are the Camp Goals? The Lancaster Liederkranz began as a singing club. The Singspiel Program aims to continue to honor the original goals of the Club by providing opportunities for the younger generation to experience German music, language, and culture. Sommer Singspiel instructors are all certified local area educators.
And as in all Liederkranz endeavors, many of our Club members volunteer each day to help ensure a successful and fun cultural learning experience for our youth. We thank them!
